The Edison Home Phonograph was introduced in the 1890s, but really hit its stride after 1901, when Edison released an updated cabinet with a banner decorating the bottom portion of the cabinet. This example came out the collection of a very discerning preservationist, who selected this machine for its "minty" cabinet and bedplate condition. The gold banner is superb as is the enameled black bedplate with gold striping. This machine plays 2 minute wax records with aplomb: the Model C reproducer is loud and clear. This machine has been set up to accept any horn from a 14" brass horn (included) up to a large horn with the proper crane. Mechanically very nice, has been set up to take a screw in crank. Three records and operating instructions included, and we'll take great care to protect this one for safe delivery!
