Listing for:
Victor the Fifth with Speartip Oak horn on tiger oak stand

The Victor looks great, plays great. An excellent phonograph as a first piece or as part of a larger collection.

The cabinet is golden oak, the hardware nickel plated. A hundred years later, still stylish!

The horn is a speartip horn -- highly sought-after in any condition! This one is very nice and matches the cabinet, as it should!

The horn is smooth with no cracks or warping defects.

The veneer on the horn is quite nice. The horn decal is an older replica and shows very well.

The ID plate has Victor's trademark dog and gramophone.

The motor is super clean, running quiet and smooth. That's a triple-spring motor -- very few Victor models got this special treatment from the factory!

The motor compartment has all the factory oiling instructions. Don't worry, we've taken care of that for you! You won't have to oil the mechanism for another decade!

The reproducer is a nice, clean Exhibition.

Another view of the cabinet.

From the side, a bold image. Note the excellent restored back-bracket striping and curlicues.

The accompanying table is very special, with its lovely tiger striping.

No faults with the table!

Needle cup is ready to dispense your loud tone and soft tone needles, as well as accept your used needles. Very convenient, a nice set-up to have.

This Victor comes complete with a full assortment of accessories: 10" and 12" record albums, and original Victor record index, and a hardcover copy of the classic Victor reference book, "Look for the Dog". A nice start to a collection!

The Victor V was a luxury model talking machine, with only the "over-the-top" super-chic, gold plated, mahogany Victor VI beating it out in the lineup. This Victor has the best of all production techniques from the Camden, New Jersey engineers. The motor is a tough and powerful triple spring mechanism, capable of playing a stack of records on a single winding. The horn is the highly desirable wood horn to provide a full and mellow sound. The reproducer is the tried-and-true Exhibition, guaranteed to fill your music room with tunes. Better yet, this phonograph comes with a matching table to store your records, albums, and accessories while supporting the Victor's hefty weight. The cabinet and mechanism of this machine have been completely restored to show factory-new. Comes with a set of record albums and records and plenty of needles for years of enjoyment.
