Victor Royal phonograph from the pre-dog era
Here it is, a cute Victor R, or Royal.
A side view.
Here is the identification plate, with the pre-dog design.
The Victor Rs were produced with the option of mounting a Rigid Arm. This one kept the early style tone arm.
A view of the turntable.
Here is the crank, reproducer, etc.
This little player is a 1901-1902 era talking machine and one of the smallest that the Victor company made. It it is full working condition, with Exhibition reproducer and a tiny but effective spring motor. The oak cabinet has been refinished and the Columbia front-mount style horn appears to be a replica that fits this model and style. The characteristic copper-oxidized finish is worn on this example, but still there. Available for inspection and ships from our Chicago location.
