Listing for:
Victor Monarch Special

This Victor Monarch and matching horn are a sight to behold!

The gorgeous finish and trim on this MS are as nice as you are likely to see!

The cabinet and back bracket are super nice original!

The turntable was large enough to play the expensive 10 inch records when this model was released in 1901. Of course, 10 inches later became the standard for phonograph discs!

There is Nipper and the Victor... Only very rarely will you see a marque as prestigious as MS: Monarch Special

The motor - an early three-spring - is willing and able!

This machine is available with an oak horn... a fantastic sign of wealth and taste, then and now.

The oak horn is nice and smooth, with no chipping or cracks.

Horn retains its decal - always be sure to check for these!

Also available is an entirely appropriate, original, brass and steel horn.

Another view with the brass bell horn.

Decal on the brass bell horn. It's an original!

Here is a photo of an optional blue flower horn. Just send us an email for the discount price with this lovely horn!

This top-of-the-line Victor Monarch Special was the luxury model introduced 1901, and affordable only to the elite. The extra fancy wood moldings and decoration, powerful three-spring motor, and regal name were only offered in this model for a few brief years, after which the "MS" was no longer available. This machine has superb original golden oak and a 10" turntable to play all your 78s loud and clear through an early Exhibition reproducer. The back bracket gold-and-blue striping is as nice as they come. Offered with your choice of the original oak horn ($3750) or a brass bell horn ($2800). Either way, a bargain! Complete with a set of records and plenty of steel needles.
